Celebrating Family

I think we can all agree that it’s been a challenging few years, especially for those who have been separated from family and friends and are only now being able to reunite after months or years of being apart. Our hearts fill up every time we hear a story from our clients, our friends and the people around us about their family members being able to finally reunite. Dolf and I not only understand the value that family brings to life, we treasure it everyday.

With Family Day just around the corner, Dolf and I were inspired to put some thoughts together to share with you. It’s a wonderful reminder to slow life down a bit to appreciate what we have and to celebrate those people in your life that you call family.

And of course family does not necessarily mean a blood relative, it may be a friendship, extended family or even the four-legged furry variety. That’s the beauty of family and love - it is open and inclusive.

Life looks very different for most of us in this modern world. With the constant evolution of technology, fast paced communications, multi-tasking and juggling of priorities, it's important to bring it ‘back to the basics’ and remember the importance of family.

As modern life puts pressure on all of us, the significance of family is more important than ever. Family is just as relevant as it ever was, if not more.
