Kindness

Kindness

Dolf and I recently returned home from a week-long vacation to explore Canada’s East Coast. We cruised along the curvy coastline, took in the sights of the crystal blue ocean, ate some of the best seafood we’ve ever eaten and had an amazing experience. But one BIG thing that stood out to us during this trip, and something that you hear often about the East Coast, is how friendly and kind the people were to us and to each other. We were greeted with kind gestures everywhere we went, it seemed like it was woven into the culture and it made for such a pleasant and enjoyable experience for us.

This got us thinking about people, specifically about kindness and about how important it is in our individual lives as well as in our shared world.

“Kindness is a gift everyone can afford to give.”

Let’s Create A Kinder World, Together

Over the past two years during the pandemic, we have all been faced with new challenges to fight and overcome. It has not been an easy road, but we have proven that we can get through it together with kindness in our hearts. Let’s keep this shared feeling of togetherness and community going to build a stronger future for us all.

“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.”

- AESOP -

Every day is an opportunity to practice kindness, even if it’s a small gesture that you think won’t make a difference in someone’s life, you never know the ripple effect that your one small gesture can make. So… what will your kind deed be today?

Kindness Goes A Long Way

Kindness is caring about others and doing things to help make their lives better. For Dolf and I, we always try to live our daily lives with kindness at the forefront of our minds because it helps us to connect with other people and build meaningful relationships in life and in business.

“Do things for people not because of who they are or what they do in return, but because of who you are.”

- Harold S. Kushner -
